These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FastVet. You represent that you have the authority to bind the entity you represent (if applicable) to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
FastVet provides cloud-based veterinary practice management software that includes, but is not limited to:
- Appointment scheduling and calendar management
- Clinical records and patient management
- Billing and invoicing
- Inventory management
- Client communications and reminders
- Reporting and analytics
- Multi-device access
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts of the Service without notice or liability.
3. User Accounts and Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5.3 Data Backup and Recovery
We maintain regular backups of Your Data as part of our Service. However, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data. We are not liable for any loss or corruption of Your Data.
5.4 Data Deletion
Upon termination of your account, we will retain Your Data for a reasonable period as specified in our data retention policy. You may request deletion of Your Data at any time, subject to our legal and regulatory obligations.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, technology, designs, graphics, text, images, and other materials, is owned by FastVet or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. If you provide us with any feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Service, you grant us an unlimited, irrevocable, perpetual, and royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback into the Service without any obligation to you.
7. Payment Terms
7.1 Subscription Fees
The Service is provided on a subscription basis. You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription as specified in your pricing plan. Fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as selected by you.
7.2 Payment Methods
You may pay subscription fees using accepted payment methods specified on our website. You agree to provide accurate and complete payment information and authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees due.
7.3 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated to you in advance and will apply to your next billing cycle. Your continued use of the Service after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
7.4 Refunds
All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in a separate agreement. Refunds, if any, will be processed according to our refund policy.
7.5 Late Payments
If payment is not received by the due date, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Service. You remain responsible for all fees incurred during the period of suspension.
8. Service Availability and Modifications
We strive to provide reliable and uninterrupted Service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free from errors, defects, or interruptions. We may:
- Perform scheduled maintenance, which may result in temporary unavailability
- Modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service
- Suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms
We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Service unavailability or interruptions.

We do not endorse, warrant, or assume responsibility for any third-party services, and we are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your use of such services.
10. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- Data protection and privacy laws (including GDPR, HIPAA-equivalent veterinary regulations where applicable)
- Veterinary practice regulations and licensing requirements
- Healthcare information protection laws
- Financial and billing regulations
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary licenses, permits, and authorizations to operate your veterinary practice and use the Service in your jurisdiction.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT
- WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE
- WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FASTVET, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR:
- ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE
- BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OR LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
- ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FastVet, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or regulation
- Your violation of any rights of a third party
- Your Data or any content you submit through the Service
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your expense.
14. Termination
14.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account termination features in the Service. Termination will be effective at the end of your current billing period.
14.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if:
- You breach these Terms
- You fail to pay any fees when due
- You engage in any fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity
- We are required to do so by law or court order
- You violate any applicable law or regulation
14.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to access and use the Service will immediately cease
- You remain responsible for all fees accrued up to the date of termination
- We will retain Your Data for a reasonable period as specified in our data retention policy
- All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FastVet is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of a recognized arbitration association, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class-action lawsuit.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We may also notify you of material changes via email or through the Service.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and terminate your account.
17. Miscellaneous
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other agreements expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and FastVet regarding the Service.
17.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
17.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
17.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time without notice.
17.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or failures of third-party services.
