Your clinical and financial records are sensitive. FastVet protects them with role-based access, strict per-practice isolation, industry-standard identity, and encrypted, South-Africa-based cloud hosting.
Access control
Each staff member signs in through Auth0, an industry-standard identity provider, and is assigned one or more roles - doctor, receptionist, nurse, groomer, admin. Those roles govern the screens and actions available to them, so the front desk, the vets and the admin team each see what's relevant to their job.

Your practice, isolated
FastVet is multi-tenant by design: every record belongs to a practice, and each request only ever sees its own practice's data. The separation is enforced at the data layer and fails closed - if a request can't prove which practice it belongs to, it sees nothing rather than everything. Login tokens are bound to the application that issued them, so a client-portal login can't be replayed to reach staff screens.

Data protection & hosting
Your data is hosted on Microsoft Azure in a South African region, encrypted in transit and at rest, and backed up centrally - there's no practice server to secure and no backups for you to run. If you ever need a copy of your data - for compliance, an audit, or portability - we can export it on request.
